Coding with iPad

We are so excited to be helping with the deployment of Swift, an Apple coding language, onto the iOS devices at schools across the North West. Having seen first hand the reaction of students of all ages, we can’t wait to help encourage more students to code.

Any computing teacher will tell you that engaging students, particularly those with little interest in the subject, can be challenging at the best of times. The use of Swift playgrounds on iOS and Mac devices, allows teachers and students to interact with code in a new unique way.

The multi-platform support, and prewritten tutorials, mean even those non specialist teachers can feel confident in the use of the technology. Using Apple’s other built in management tools, such as Apple Classroom and AirPlay, teachers can keep an eye on their students, helping them where necessary and promoting examples of good work wirelessly to an Apple TV or compatible streamer.

As the students learn more code, the program adapts and encourages them to think more creatively. We would love to work with you to get this implemented in your school, give us a call today.
